A sociopolitical organization, Akwa Ibom Street-Men Empowerment, has applauded the industrialization effort of the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, in the entire 31 Local Government Areas of the state as well as his quest for the massive empowerment of the youths, describing it as well deserved.
The group made the commendation through the Street Governor, Otuekong Engr. Charlie Eka a.k.a (Chalie Benz) recently during his birthday anniversary in Uyo, the state Capital where particularly commended Governor Udom Emmanuel on his various ground breaking projects targeted at empowering the teeming unemployed youths of the state as well as fulfilling his electoral promises.
Otuekong Eka who expressed his happiness on his short stay in office the remarkable achievements so far recorded and expressed optimism that Gov. Udom Emmanuel has performed well and will double his effort in his human capital developmental projects in the state.
He charged his people and indeed people of the state to support the government to actualize his vision such as Ibom Seaport, even in the appointment of youths and street men into his government. However, he pledged his unalloyed support to the present government of Udom Emmanuel Administration. In the same vein, Otuekong Eka particularly reiterated the assurance that when the Automobile Assembly Plant whose ground breaking has already been done is completed it will great job opportunities and absorb unemployed youths and the entire street men of Akwa Ibom State.
