Gov Emmanuel Awards More Roads In Oron As Victor Antai Doles Out Car Gift

As a way of appreciating the people of his community for their support to the the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during and after the 2015 general elections, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Rt Hon Victor Antai, donated a car to Mr. Baron Ita Iniekung from Eyo-Abasi in Oron Local Government Area over the weekend.

Presenting the car key to the beneficiary, the International President of Afiwad Ekid and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Iwaad Etinne Bob, thanked the people of the area for the support they gave to PDP during the election period and their continued support for Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He, while briefing the Oro people on the progress made so far on Ibaka deep-sea port which, when completed, will bring economic development to the area, intimated them of Governor Emmanuel’s commitment towards touching the lives of the people of Oro Nation and the entire Akwa Ibom State.

img-20161013-wa0002The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Rt Hon Victor Antai, presenting the Governor’s score card in Oro Nation, highlighted road projects recently awarded by the Governor to include Airport Road – Okopedi – Uya Oron road to join East – West road, Igbo Street, Murtala road, Market Road and continuation of Mary Hanney road to Abestonit.

He also stressed that the Governor has so far proven himself to be the right man for the job and a man of integrity.

The car which was presented by the International President of Afiwad Ekid, Iwaad Etinne Bob, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, had in attendance Mr. Imoh Emeh, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Re-orientation, Dr. Mrs. Marjorie Abasiodiong , Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Skill Acquisition, Akparawa Monday Etuk Akpan, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on tourism, Ulap Joseph Bassey Okon, Senior Special Assistant on Projects and Apostle Samuel Ekah, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on NDDC.

Also present were the village head of Udung-ulo, Youths, Women and Elders of Eyo-Abasi in Oron Local Government Area.
