Ita Enang Defrauds His Kinsmen With Fake NDDC Projects

The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matter, Sen. Ita Solomon Enang, has been exposed by his kinsmen. The people of Ibiono Ibom where he hails are angry with the President’s aide whom they accused of swindling them with fake NDDC projects.

An indigene of Ididep who simply gave his name as Moses Ekong, conducted this newspaper round some abandoned road projects in the area and other uncompleted projects littering the area, said the Senator allegedly collected money meant for the said projects and pocketed them.

Corroborating Moses position on the matter, the member representing Ibiono Ibom in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Ime Okon further revealed that Ita Enang attracted abandoned projects to Ibiono Ibom. Making reference to the road that lin ks the Science School and Okpoto Ididep community, Barr. Okon whiole featuring as guest on ‘Akwa Ibom Mandate’, a radio programme on Planet FM, Said “Ita Enang brought abandoned project. The road from Science School, Okpoto Ididep was brought by Ita, he collected money from NDDC and abandoned the road. He has benefitted immensely from Ibiono Ibom, he has benefitted from Akwa Ibom State”.

Reacting to a recent outburst by the Presidential aide against governor Udom Emmanuel and people of the state, the Ibiono Ibom lawmaker who is the Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Information, said Akwa IObom people are wise and would not be swayed by any amount of dirts and mudslinging pepertrated by Senator Enang and his APC.

“If it was intended to denigrade the the administration of Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, he has failed. Many of the projects that Ita collected contract funds from NDDC, were not executed. He could not account for it”.

Describing him as selfish, Barr. Ime Okon said “He looks at himself first, his selfish interest before thinking about other people.
